About Us

Leader Education aims to provide an excellent environment for students to learn Chinese language and to explore Chinese culture. We put emphasis on providing small class sizes with individualized attention for conversation. Our teachers are chosen for their experience in Chinese language teaching and their caring and inspiring teaching method. These classes are usually after school and school holidays. We have classes for adults too! We also provide other extension programmes such as Art.

Our curriculum structure

Our curriculum reflects the Australia National Curriculum but with additional materials and resources to enhance the students’ standards. Our aim is to bring our students to the VET (Vocational Education and training) and WACE (Western Australia Certificate of Education) level of achievement. We also aim to attain the standards of the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and China’s HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi).

Class structure

We aim for a minimum class size of 4 students and maximum of 8 students. The first hour is made up of active interaction with the class teacher. In the last half hour students are expected to work independently on the assigned task or activity sheet under supervision
